Video shows a female after catching a Hexagenia (mayfly) from nearby Putah Creek. Note the Hexagenia is still alive.

Hexagenia is a large mayfly that attracts trout and fly fishers alike.

Male bluebird landing near a cavity nest that holds his chicks. The male is a total participant in feeding the chicks. He typically would catch smaller prey than the female. In this case, he brought back a nice caterpillar.
